We were all about to go on stage for the guys' first performance, as an opening act, when they told us that their management said they could announce who we were along with the rest of the dancers when they told the "fans" their own names.

"That is so cool!" I shrieked.

"That's not all though." Kevin said.

"Yeah the rest of the news isn't too great." AJ said.

"What is it?" Mel asked.

"Management won't let us announce that we have any relationships, anywhere." Brian said.

"That's crazy! A person's allowed to have a love life!" Jera said.

"Why not?" Renee asked.

"They don't think it will be good publicity." AJ told us as I ran off crying into the dressing room. I didn't know he followed me.

"Baby please don't cry!" he said.

"Not cry? How can I when all I think of is Marc all over again?" I said knowing it would hurt him but not caring at the time.

"Wait a minute! Just because I can't express my feelings about you to the public doesn't mean I love you any less. Plus, seeing as I do love you why would I pull the kind of shit someone who was an ass to you pulled? How could you doubt me?" he yelled, obviously hurt.

"I'm sorry AJ. I just feel like no one ever wants to pay attention to me or tell me they love me in public. I mean what the fuck is so wrong with me that they can't acknowledge my existence?" I said.

"Sweetie, if I could, just know that I would." he said.

"I know, I'm sorry AJ. It's just, I really like what we have and I'm not ready to get used again." I said.

"Hey, I love you more than I think you realize and I will never, ever use you. I'll tell you what, I'll make sure I'm the first to tell the world about you."

"Thank you AJ." I said

"Anything my sweet.'

We finished the set with my favorite song they currently sang "I'll Never Break Your Heart". Each of the guys always had the same dancer, Kevin & Renee, Howie & Mel, Brian & Jera, Nick & Jess, and AJ & me. The guys were announcing us to the crowd when AJ did something I'll never forget.

"I'd like to introduce you all to the lovely, Laura Colombo." AJ said handing me a rose. "I hope you can all love her as much as we, myself included, do if you get the chance to meet her. I love ya girl!" he finished planting a kiss on my cheek.

"I love you, too." I whispered in his ear.

We walked off the stage hand in hand, with the crowd cheering for the guys. Kevin was walking up to us and I could tell he was less than happy.

"AJ what the fuck is your problem? What the hell did you do that for?" He asked.

"I couldn't help it. And did you see how the crowd reacted? They were cheering not booing like management thought." AJ said.

"They aren't going to care about 'how the crowd reacted.' All they'll see is that you didn't listen." Kevin said.

"Look Kevin this is my fault. I overreacted when y'all said you couldn't tell the fans about us. I'm sorry." I said and I ran to the dressing room for the second time that night, the tears streaming down my face.

"She asked you to do it?" Kevin asked.

"Dammit Kevin, it's not her fault! She didn't ask me to do anything. I decided to because the only other boyfriend she had denied her existence when people asked about her." AJ said running after me.

"AJ wait! I'm sorry. You were right to do it. I probably would have done it if I was in your place."

"Thanks man."

"Baby, where are you?" AJ called out and that's when he saw it, her bags packed on the floor.

"AJ, I'm leaving. I can't stay here." I said.

"What are you talking about? You're the best dancer out there and you know it." He said.

"There's always someone who finds something wrong with everything I do. I'm just going to go home. You'll all be better off without me." I said turning away from him so I didn't have to see his heart breaking.

"I've never seen anything wrong with you or what you do. I've known Kevin forever, he was just blowing off steam cuz he's gonna get a bunch of shit about tonight since he's the oldest. Please don't leave. I don't think I could live with that." He said coming close to me to hold me.

"You mean that?" I asked

"Everyword."

"I'm sorry AJ. I love you so much."

"Me too baby, me too."

"Sorry to interrupt you guys but we're leaving to go to the hotel in 20 minutes so we can get ready to go out tonight."

"Thanks Brian." I said turning back to AJ and kissing him.
